  9. NATURISM IS LAWFUL Naturists, also known as nudists, are people who enjoy activities — including walking, cycling, sunbathing and swimming — in the nude. There’s no need to be concerned if you meet naturists. Simply being naked in a public place is not against the law. It doesn’t amount to “indecent exposure”, contrary to popular belief. Everyone who joins BN – with the exception of overseas members – is automatically allocated to one of the regions. Whether you’re a seasoned skinny dipper or a nudie-newbie, why not experience the freedom of swimming in the buff? Anecdotally and through many online posts, conversations, feedback and discussions, it’s clear that many of us have been delighted to have the community of Naturists around us, giving us the opportunity to be active, to meet others and share experiences. This has been particularly true during lockdown, when life turned upside down and the activity and society that we took for granted all but disappeared. Has Naturism and the Naturist community contributed to our mental health? Three Naturists te
