  1. 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of British Naturism/CCBN, an organisation that sprung from the unification of the British Sun Bathers Association and the Federation of British Sun Clubs.  The history of Naturism in the UK goes back even further and 2024 marks the centenary of Sunlight League and formation of The Camp in Wickford, Essex, the first Naturist Club in the UK. This longevity is achieved by one thing – the members who practise Naturism.  For this reason, the first activity we are

  6. After a busy year, it's time for an update! Most readers will know that BN has been working with national charity British Heart Foundation for a few years now, and collaborating on two initiatives aimed at raising funds and introducing more people to the wonderful world of social nudity, namely the Great British Skinny Dip and Naked Heart Walks. The summer and autumn of 2023 have seen some major changes to the British Naturism Executive with many new additions and several people reaching the end of their term.  As a result, several long-term projects have reached fruition this year, so it is a good time to look back at what has happened.   Engagement Over three years we have been building communication, both with members and with other interested bodies. There’s a few other folk here but it's not busy. 10 minutes to go before the doors open for this evening’s BN Naked Comedy Night. Usually, Naturists turn up well before the advertised start time of an event. “Where are they all?” I texted a friend. I nip to the loo and when I emerge there is a queue the length of the pub to get through to the upstairs venue! An eclectic mix of three acts enterta
