As in past months this is a clothing optional event at the Little Man Coffee Shop, Bridge Street, Cardiff, CF10 2EE and new members are very welcome but as usual Linda asks that attendees drop her an email or call her on 07812 486380 for any further details. Gary caught up with Howard recently and he said “we were blessed with unexpectedly sunny weather for the Beach Day at Studland on 16th June, especially given how cool and wet it had been up until then. The National Trust provided equipment for a leisurely hour or so of litter-picking, which somewhat depressingly resulted in three large sacks full of rubbish, so we did some good as well as meeting and chatting. The sea was not as cold as expected. Next Beach Day is Sunday, 25th August”.

  6. Shaftesbury Town Council run the local Lido, which is Dorset's only Lido. Included in the Lido programme are Naked Swims on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings, between season opening on May 25th and season close which is usually in the first week of September, but may be later according to weather and other factors. With the aim of increased inclusivity and participation of underrepresented groups, Bristol Naked Swim will be offering a women's only swim that also welcomes trans and non-binary people on Wednesday 15th May 2024 from 9pm to 10pm.   10. Jacki and her team are holding another rally in the spring based on the great success they had last year. Being held at Lower Poulza Farm near Bude in Cornwall starting in the afternoon of Wednesday 8th May and finishing on Wednesday 15th May 2024. Plymouth Sun Club holds monthly Monday swims in Plympton Pool on the outskirts of Plymouth.  Until now the club as met twice a month, but because of rising costs and lower than expected attendance last year, the 2024 schedule has been reduced to once a month, see calendar details here https://www.bn.org.uk/events/event/8244-plymouth-sun-club/  Your support for the club will be appreciated, this is one of the few swims where no advance booking is required, just turn up, bring some ID and £7

  21. South West Region News - July 2020 Here is an update of what’s - on and what’s - not in the South West Region, plus some plans for next year already being made. South West Region Meeting 2021. The team has decided a meeting this year is not realistic. Therefore, tentative plans are in place for our next meeting scheduled for Saturday afternoon on 3rd April 2021.  We plan to repeat arrangements in place before lockdown when we were to meet in the Bear Inn at Street before enjoying

We are all very aware of the restrictions in place because of the Coronavirus, but with the Government indicating some easing of restrictions in the weeks to come, I thought it would be useful to publish an update of events planned and cancelled in the region to the end of June.   24. Sue Keeping 23rd October 1949 to 13th January 2020 Sue Keeping was the South West Regional Co-ordinator from 2015-2019 and a lifelong Naturist. Members may have met her at Nudefest and other events, delivering workshops and sessions on Kinesiology.  She was an energetic lady, always interested in others and always with a smile on her face.
