  1. Hi Everyone The upoming meal at The Folkcafe near Bury st edmunds in Suffolk has been cancelled. The reason for this is down to the cost of the meals being inflated too high. But we still have plenty of other events to look forwardto in the coming months.
  2. This Saturday is the start of The Great British Take off. There are several events planned. The cost is only £3 which will be going as a donation to the British Heart Foundation. The events are: here Personally I have booked a place for Saturday mornings fitness class. At 10am. Should be fun and tiring🤣🤣 Its still not to late to take part in the events, so I urge everyone in the eastern region to take part in some way and support the charity too.   3. Its the return of The Mikron Theatre this weekend at Sunfolk. This event is organised by Sandra. She has organised many popular events before. Mikron's performance tells the story of Charles Cruft, how he began the famous Crufts dog show and how he was accused of a serious crime. If you would like to know more the details are below;  
  4. In a synergized move the two regions  Laser ( London And South East Region) and the Eastern Region have teamed up for a relaxing evening cruise. On Saturday 8th February at 6pm. Departing from Ware Town Quay in Hertfordshire the cruise will journey southwards along the Lee Valley  and will be  returning  to Ware at 10pm Believed to be the first nude trip on the River Lee. What could be better than a heated and naked cruise with a Fish and Chip supper included in the price; you won't go

This June we have the opportunity for another Museum visit. following on from the success of the trip to Christchurch Mansion  Museum in Ipswich last March, we now have a visit organised to Milton Keynes Museum on  Saturday 27th June. This is a great opportunity to invite your history loving friends and family; Enjoy a day out that will be both fun and educational. You can make history too; by taking part in this first, naked, Museum event in Milton Keynes. Here are the essential details;

  7. Last Summer many of us enjoyed a day out near Halesworth at Valley Farm Vineyards. Our two female hosts were, very hospitable and knowledgeable about the industey and their wines.  Sadly they have decided to move on.   9. British Naturism is an organisation run by volunteers. The nation is split up into Regions and our Region over the past few years has run many well attended meetings including (picture) a visit to the Secret Nuclear Bunker near Brentwood, Lido swims in Peterborough, Christmas Meals in St.Albans, Naturist Walks all over the Region almost every month in the summer, and Naked Heart Walks at three different locations to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation. John is an experienced walker and is planning a program of walking events for next year. John is open and Friendly and welcomes new or experienced walkers to his events.   11. Earlier this week, the new Eastern Newsletter announced the incorrect Watford swim Days and times in the entry;  ' News from Eastern England'. In Clarification; The correct Tmes are; Every Friday Evening from 8:45pm to 10pm except Public Holidays. Watford Swim has use of a 25 m pool, steam room and sauna.        
  12. Here is some Good News; Watford Naturist Swimming Club will restart its activities on;  Friday 14th August. In the Pool there will be lane closures.   13. Recently a new Sports Officer for the Eastern Region was appointed. Ian Beeby has recently agreed to adopt the role. He is a volunteer on the Eastern Regional Committee and has previously served in other volunteer roles, and most  recently as ; Vice Chairman  of the committee.   In recent times the use of sport within British Naturism's Eastern Region has been put on the back burner. with the Covid 19 Pandemic being  a large factor in this. so to reinvigoraate naturist
  14. Every month there is a Regional Newsletter listing all the naturist opportunites taking place. If you're not on the mailing list then you need to sign-up. These newsletters are quite long as they are so informative, so a one-page version is produced to go on club notice boards to reach a wider audience than just BN members and so that club members can join in BN events.   16. Wilstone Naturist Walk Cancelled The  year's  first walk on Friday 19th March at 12:30pm has been cancelled due to covid restrictions. However; the other walks listed on the the eastern regional events page are being left in the schedule.
