There were 500+ Naturists at BN’s big summer event Nudefest in 2019, and when day visitors, entertainers and suppliers are added the figure is closer to 700. Some of those day visitors came to the Thorney Lakes park in Somerset to compete in the Nudefest 5K - with a 10K option for those who complete the course twice - which grows more popular each year. It was great night out at Arundel Lido for their first Great British Skinny Dip event. The management opted to run their own event and it was the first time a nude event had taken place at the West Sussex open air pool which opens between May and September each summer. The event was attended by around 80 people - and £800 was raised towards new changing huts and Project Leap. There is a real interest in running another skinny dip - so watch this space for details!

In May a first ever skinny dip took place at Bude in Cornwall. Forty Naturists are looking forward to a fish and chip cruise on canal boat from Norbury Wharf on Thursday 4th April. It’s the first trip of its kind in BN’s North West region. This weekend British Naturism attended the 4-day long Caravan & Motorhome Show at Event City in Manchester. Our stand was located in the ‘village’ style area - a place where most of the small stands were - It was a good location and had good footfall.
