Summer is Not Done Yet

Well, the breaking news in my world is that the Autumn magazine is now complete and will soon be off to the printers. So that’s the end of the summer season, right?

Wrong!

As this scorching summer shows no sign of letting up, there is still so much to come.

Big Events

The EveryBody Festival is now less than a week away and sold out quite a while ago, but the waterpark visit in Poole on 22 August is still on sale, so join us there if you can.

For those heading to EveryBody, we’re adding some drone flyover activity, including a group photograph and an “EveryBody” promotional photograph for those who have the shirt. It’s something to get involved with if you’re there, but also something to look out for if you’re not. This is one of the ways we use our events to showcase and promote Naturism.

Full Weekends

But we don’t need to wait until next week to do something spectacular.

British Naturism: Sunfolk looks like it will be packed this weekend as the sun continues to blaze. That’s when it is at its best: the sense of community when the site is busy is what Naturism is all about. Anndra is also running an informal meditation session at Sunfolk on Sunday 16 August, and the only thing you need to do to take part is be there!

Further north, the Edinburgh weekend offers two days of amazing activities. On Saturday 15 August, people can put on their sea legs as they embark on the Forth Boat Trip, followed on Sunday 16 August by a visit to the stunning Jupiter Artland Gardens.

One-Off Events

There is also a full selection of single-day events scattered around the country.

Saturday 15 August

Sunday 16 August

But perhaps the most significant single-day event is the beach day at Portstewart Strand in Northern Ireland. This is particularly significant because it has been supported by the National Trust in Northern Ireland and is attracting attention in the local press.

Together, this range of events shows that summer is certainly not over yet, and there are plenty of chances to get involved.

It’s a good time to be a Naturist.
