You might be excused for thinking that Naturist activities are winding down now that summer is drawing to a close. But that’s not entirely true! There are still plenty of things on the horizon, and some of them are quite spectacular.
Saturday 22 August – Hawkstone Park Follies Naked Heart Walk
As soon as this weekend, there’s a chance to get out into the countryside, explore a spectacular new venue and raise money for the British Heart Foundation at the same time.
Hawkstone Park Follies is a fascinating place, with plenty of little nooks and crannies to discover as you make your way around the site. You can also keep up to date with the full Naked Heart Walk programme here.
Saturday 22 August – Splashdown Waterpark, Poole
The walk isn’t the only thing happening on Saturday. You can still buy tickets to join us at Splashdown Waterpark in Poole.
Linked to the EveryBody Festival, this is going to be a popular event, combining a great day out with the chance to enjoy the waterpark as nature intended. We’d love to see you there!
Saturday 29 August – Indoor Crazy Golf, Dunfermline
Continuing the theme of unique experiences, we shouldn’t forget the evening at Adventure Golf Island in Dunfermline.
It’s a truly bonkers opportunity to play crazy golf as nature intended. And because much of the course is indoors, there’s no need to worry about what the Scottish weather might have in store!
Saturday 12 September – Narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal
One of the great things about an organisation like British Naturism is that not every activity needs to be a huge event. Some of the most memorable experiences are small gatherings organised by members, which is exactly what happens when a community of like-minded people comes together.
The trip down the Grand Union Canal, organised by John White, is a perfect example. The narrowboat can accommodate only a dozen people, but there are still a few spaces available, giving you the chance to join this truly unusual experience.
This is the second time the trip has run. The first trip is written up in the autumn edition of BN Magazine, which comes out in digital format next week and in print in early September.

30 October – 2 November – The Gathering
Finally, we mustn’t forget the biggest British Naturism event still to come in 2026: The Gathering at the King Robert Hotel in Stirling.
This Halloween-themed event is packed with activities and live entertainment, and it’s always popular. It usually sells out, and given the way people have missed out on some of our other events this year, it would be prudent to act fast while there are still a few spaces left.
On top of all these events, British Naturism: Sunfolk is open for a good while yet.
The hot tub, sauna and heated swimming pool are particularly appealing for those of us who aren’t quite ready to put our clothes back on yet! As autumn approaches, we can expect the summer ice cream to give way to bistro coffee, but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the site.
So, I started writing this thinking that the season was winding down.
Seems I was wrong!
