Invitation Mieren Pétanque Tournament 2026
Dear pétanque enthusiasts, It’s that time again: on 25 and 26 April 2026 (arrival from 24th) we will be organising our annual Pétanque Tournament! Get your boules out of the cupboard, invite your friends, and get ready for a sporty and enjoyable weekend full of excitement and fun.
Program
Friday: arrival from 14:00. Time to unpack your boules, set up your chair, and enjoy the first drink together.
Saturday: matches during the day, three exciting preliminary rounds and one poule match; in the evening a shared meal (please register in advance) followed by live music.
Sunday: continue playing according to the Swiss system, with the final in the afternoon.
Monday: pack up and depart no later than 12:00.

Costs
Accommodation: €25 per camping unit for the weekend.
Tournament participation: €10 per Doublette.
Saturday evening meal: €17.50 per person.
Sociability: completely free.
Why shouldn’t you miss this? The tournament is not only sporty and fun, but also the opportunity to maintain international contacts. You’ll meet old acquaintances and make new friends — with a drink in your hand and a boule in the grass. Extra tip If you still have some energy after the tournament: on 1 May you can stroll around the “Bloemetjesmarkt” in Groningen. A colourful dessert after a sporty weekend! Swims are usually on the last Saturday of the month apart from December. Our usual time is 4.30pm and we are given  a 3 hour slot by the leisure centre.
 
Please note: 
“Though we would like you to be there at the start, please do not enter the building and start queueing until 10 minutes before our start time at the earliest to allow members of the public to leave.”

The club is a friendly safeguarded swim run by members for members where the simple pleasure of naturism is enjoyed by both younger and older members in a warm safe environment.
Enjoy warm pools for swimming and exercise, sauna and steam rooms for detoxification and de-stress, lounge for rest and refreshment.
Open to all BN members and continental style naturists who enjoy acceptance of naturism as part of a healthy life.
No membership required.
Qualified therapeutic care available in the form of professional MASSAGE  and healing. Please sign in for a massage as you pay you money on entrance.

Unfortunately anyone turning up who isn't known to us (previous attendance, newcomer we've been in contact with) cannot be allowed entry. 
 
The cost per person for the 3 hour event is
Standard £10
Members of British naturism, present fee £5.00 (a valid BN card must be shown at the desk )
Students on production of current students ID £5:00
CASH ONLY ( Lockers are available but require a refundable £1 coin) 
 
As we are affiliated with British Naturism we prefer everyone who attends our events to be members of British Naturism, There are many benefits to membership which include access to many swims and clubs, access to the BN website and forums where friendship and advice about all things naturist in this country and abroad can be found, Please consider joining BN however if you’re not a BN member please contact us as we welcome all genuine naturists and of course those who are new to naturism.

 
Refreshments will be available: hot and cold drinks plus rolls/sandwiches, snack etc.
Sauna and steam rooms are available throughout the sessions  but please limit your time in them to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy those facilities.
Past experience tells us that it is preferable to speak to newcomers before they attend.
Remember unacceptable behavour will not be tolerated.
If anyone has any concerns whatsoever about the swims, e.g. such as any possible unacceptable or inappropriate behaviour, please approach one of the organisers identified by green wrist bands at the time and not later – please do not delay so that any incidents can be investigated in strictest confidence as soon as possible.

The cost is £8 on the door or you can buy your ticket online.

Come and join us at Didcot Wave to swim and socialise.
All of our swims run from 5:30pm-6:30pm at Didcot Wave Leisure Centre. Free parking on site at the pool.
Attendance costs £10 each. Please bring cash for the night.
On arrival you will see that we are just inside reception to welcome and register you. Once the venue is empty of other guests we can undress in the changing rooms and enter the pool.
BN members welcome (BN card required on the day), but we recommend that you email us in advance to let us know that you will be attending. Any queries or to book please contact secretary@oxnat.org.uk.

Join BN’s London and Southeast Regional team for another exciting Murder Mystery evening at the Mill Arms in Dunbridge, a charming country pub in Rural Hampshire. We will have exclusive use of the function room at the pub. This is a fully self-contained area with its own bar which will be open throughout the evening and toilets which means that it will be possible to be naked throughout the event.  This will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones in a naturist setting and help solve the murder.
During the evening we will have a finger buffet.
We have the function room booked from 6pm to 10pm, if you wish to arrive earlier the pub will be open although you will have to remain dressed until you enter the function room.
Please arrive by 6pm so you don’t miss the briefing about the murder.
There is a large car park at the pub, and it's only a two-minute walk from Mottisfont and Dunbridge Station, if you'd prefer to leave the car at home and come by train. There are no engineering works scheduled for the 25th April so the hourly train service will be operating from Southampton & Salisbury.
