Organised by Triratna Buddhist Community. Held in the Blackdown Hills, Somerset. See www.buddhafield.com for details.
Responsible nudity permitted and defended by the organisers.
The Terms and Conditions state:
The Festival is a legendarily loved-up experience, so we’d especially request sensitivity towards people who are more open than usual.
There may be more nudity than you are accustomed to. Many people enjoy the freedom to be naked in a safe, mixed environment. There are two points about this: Please don't subject others (naked or otherwise) to lewd or judgmental comments, to repeated, unwanted attention or sexual advances. You may be comfortable being fully naked, but please offer consideration to those people that, given our culture, find nudity distracting, challenging or even threatening.

Swims now take place in Sheffield at King Edward's Swimming Pool, Sheffield.
The pool address is :-
King Edward's Swimming Pool,
Clarkehouse Road
Sheffield
S10 2LB
For details of the pool please see their website ( http://kesp.co.uk/ ) It is an unusual pool, being 30m long with two shallow ends, somewhat deeper in the middle but still easy to stand. Our impression is that the pool is warmer than Chapeltown.
There is plenty of street parking, free on Sundays. Outside of school hours we can also park for free in the school staff car park adjacent . There are two entrances: I'd suggest the Glossop Road entrance is the one to use, but there is also an entrance on Newbould Lane which means a longer walk.
For those arriving by public transport the pool is very close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and is served by the 120 bus, the closest tram stop is the University of Sheffield.
If you are hungry/thirsty there is a Wetherspoon's ( The Francis Newton ) virtually opposite.
For location see Google Maps - the pool is near the centre:-

The swims will normally take place on the third Sunday of the month, from 1530 to 1715 ( all persons to leave by 1725 ). Cost will be £5 ( BN/INF, cards to be shown ) or £7 otherwise. The pool does not have lockers and swimmers are advised to bring a bag for their clothes/possessions and to take them poolside as the secure cloakroom will not be staffed.
For further details please contact Andrew Calow ( andrewcalow@hotmail.com, 0114 2215579 ).
