  6. Founded in 1979, we are a club with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities. As well as scheduled social events and saunas evenings, members are always able to enjoy the club's facilities, such as the clubhouse with its wood-burning fire and new conservatory, the hot-tub, and, of course, the surrounding woodland.   About twenty Saturday evenings a year, we hire the Didcot Wave Leisure Pool with its wave machine. The club was founded in 1953 on the site of an old alms-house and has expanded into the five acre site we have now.
