The Classic Car show at the Naturist Foundation was a big success. The 25 cars were all driven to the event by proud owners and were admired by the many visitors to the club on a beautiful hot weekend. Undoubtedly the event should become an annual one. One lady jokingly said that you could smell the testosterone as you walked up to the cars! (It was actually the smell of engine oil and polish). There was a huge variety of cars from normal production models to hand built cars as well as two camper vans. Whenever an owner popped the bonnet of their car there was a rush to have a good look.
The range of events in the Laser Region this year has been immense. From walks, swims, yoga, life drawing, garden visits, pottery sessions to museum visits, bike events, sauna sessions and lavender farms. Let's hope we can continue to grow as a region.
