  3. Here's a reminder for all BN  Eastern Region members and clubs. Our AGM is on Sunday 03rd April at Blackthorns Sun Club near Bedford. The meeting starts at 11am.   5. My first Naked Heart Walk during the early evening of 6th Sept 25 was a perfect way to visit the stunning College Lake Nature Reserve, near Tring in Hertfordshire.   6. BN Eastern Region Naturist Walks 2020 Enjoy walking? Then why not join in some of our naturist walks in the Beds-Bucks-Herts Borders area in the coming months: Wilstone, Hertfordshire, on Friday 20 March 2020, 1.00pm to 5.00pm. The walk is on flat terrain, starting at the village Wilstone and walking along sections of the Grand Union Canal (Aylesbury Arm) towards Aylesbury. We then turn away from the Canal returning through tree covered footpaths and open countryside towards Long Marst

As a result of the Lockdown partially lifting, John Gelder our Eastern Region Walks Coordinator has been able to carry on with three of the many organised walks that were planned; Firstly;  Aston Abbotts Naturist walks on Sunday 21st June 2020 Secondly; World Naked Hiking day ( in a different location to the one previously advertised ) Thirdly; Great Missenden Walk on Friday 17th July The Above Walks Are Now Fully Booked
  10. Tickets are now on sale for Fullers Mill Gardens on Saturday 18th June from 5,30 pm until 8pm. These beautiful gardens are run by the charity; perennial.org, and are home to many rare species from around the world., so much so; Fullers Mill garden is classified as a botanic garden. The hosts are friendly. There is a small shop to buy plants and shrubs. Coffee and Tea is also on sale with a delicious array of home made cakes.  There is a covered area with chairs and tables to relax

  12. Robert has announced; some news about an event in our region. Suffice to say this is going to be a popular event with people already asking for tickets. GOOD NEWS.   14. On Saturday 31 July Mildenhall  swim club are hosting a Great British Skinny Dip (GBSD) at The Leisure Centre in Bury st Edmunds, Suffolk. This will the first swim in Bury. Mildenhall welcomes any BN members and additionally it would be a great event to invite first time Naturists to. Here are the booking details below; 44

  16. Plans are taking shape for 2024 activities in Eastern Region. A popular naturist club near Colchester (www.SpringwoodSunClub.co.uk) will be opening their gates for the BN Eastern Region Spring Conference in April. One of the topics for the day will be how to arrange a new naturist group event, starting with the basics like identifying a suitable venue. Other topics will cover naturist events already a long way into the planning phase but not yet advertised, and there will be a summary our regula
  17. As a Reminder;Tomorrow, Saturday 11th September, we have a Narrowboat cruise on the Grand Union Canal. The cruise is starting from Nash Mills , just south of Hemel Hempstead.   18. On Sunday 1st August. Their is another tour of a Vineyard and tasting of 6 wines. The venue is the Hanwell Wine Estate. Places are limited to 30 and there are a few tickets left for sale. Here are the booking details;  
  19. Club Naturel is hosting a Ladies-Only, Clothes-Optional swim from 8 pm - 10 pm on 1st Friday of the Month. We use a private-hire pool near Attleborough, which also has a hot tub and sauna. The cost is £7 per person, payable on the day. As naturists in the area,  perhaps your off work again, furloughed or working from home. or stuck at home isolated from family and friends for even longer now. Maybe your participating in the online BN events or gardening naked.   22. What a wonderful evening on 15th June for our first of three Lido swims in the Eastern Region. Yes, it rained for a while but we got to see a beautiful rainbow - and it was wetter in the water. The Peterborough Lido has classic 1930's architecture worth a visit in its own right. But it wasn't just about the swimming, there was the social aspect too, having a chat at the onsite cafe. There are two more events still to come: one at Letchworth (near Watford) and the other back at Peterborough Lido.
