Putting the “Sun” into Sunfolk

It seems that the sun and the summer are about to return in full force, so the question is: where will you go to make the most of it?

A popular answer seems to be British Naturism: Sunfolk. It quickly becomes busy when the sun comes out, as it will this weekend and beyond. That energy makes Sunfolk a very exciting place to be. Most of us are members because of the community we find amongst Naturists, and that means Sunfolk feels welcoming and vibrant rather than crowded.

The facilities really come into their own when the weather is good. The broad sunbathing lawns are the perfect place to throw down a picnic blanket and relax. The glass dome over the swimming pool can be opened wide, allowing you to enjoy the warmth of the air, a gentle breeze passing through, and the refreshing feel of the water all at once.

In the pavilion, the café bistro is ready to keep you fed and refreshed. In particular, the ice cream freezer stocked with artisan-made Saffron Ice Cream is perfect for those looking to cool down. You are equally welcome to bring your own snacks; strawberries and cream on the lawn sounds particularly appealing.

If you are planning to stay overnight, the hot tub is ready and waiting for when the temperature begins to dip in the evening. It is the perfect way to round off a day spent enjoying the sunshine, with no need to think about clothing at any point during your stay.

Speaking of staying over, there are options for camping, motorhomes and hiring one of the glamping pods if you prefer to have the arrangements made for you. If you are planning a glamping stay during the summer, we would recommend booking ahead as they are always popular. They are also more than warm enough should the weather change its mind again.

All in all, Sunfolk is a great option if you do not already have plans for the hot week ahead. Hopefully, we will see you there.
