We are heading into another scorching weekend, so once again it is a good time to think about how best to capitalise on the sunshine and get outside to shed our clothes.
Sunfolk Pride
At the top of the bill has to be Sunfolk Pride. This is going to be packed; I understand there are well over a hundred attendees already signed up. Running from Friday to Sunday, the programme includes yoga, sports, crafts, a BBQ and a silent disco. Based on the photos from last year, it promises to be a fantastic weekend.
Remember, you do not need to be part of the LGBTQ+ community to join the Pride event. If you are welcoming of all individuals, this is an event for you.
Spielplatz Summer Solstice Art Show
Those peering through the Sunfolk fence will notice the second annual Art Show taking place just next door. This is very much a social event, with the opportunity to purchase artwork an added bonus. More details can be found here, and you can reserve your place by emailing information@spielplatz.co.uk.
Brocken Hurst Classic Vehicle Show
You do not need to travel too far for the next big event, because the Naturist Foundation are hosting their Classic Vehicle Show at Brocken Hurst in Kent.
Twenty-five classic vehicles have already been confirmed, and alongside the cars you can enjoy the woodland walks, indoor pool and outdoor bar, all Naturist-style. More details, including ticket information, are available here.
College Lake Nature Reserve Naked Heart Walk
The solstice also means World Naked Hiking Day, and earlier in the week we heard about the Naked Heart Walk at College Lake near Aylesbury. If you want to raise money for the British Heart Foundation while enjoying your Naturism, this is the event for you.
Summer Solstice Sauna Ritual
Finally, we head across to Bristol for Michael and Fiona's nature-connected Summer Solstice Sauna Ritual. This sounds like the perfect way to round out a hot weekend.
Whichever you choose, it is going to be a fantastic weekend. Have fun!
