We are into the final big day of Nudefest, but you might be wondering what happened yesterday. Let's just say it was spectacular in the very best possible way.
Reports that we were going to try nude beekeeping onsite made national headlines when they were announced; and yes, we really did it. A busload of bees certainly sounds strange, but it also carries an important message. Bees are vital to our environment and are under threat, so while having them onsite was great fun, it also highlighted a crucial environmental issue that Naturism is absolutely committed to support. Any opportunity to raise awareness of environmental concerns is a good one.
The madness continued through the day with a massive Holi paint fight and the irreverent music of one-man band Andy Twyman.
But if you think that was the chaos we were talking about, you would be very much mistaken.
The evening entertainment began with live music from Girls on Cue, and hundreds of peacock feathers, shed from the birds at a local farm were handed around, before they handed over to the legend that is Paul Chuckle, who took to the decks for a truly unique DJ set. While we were still wondering whether it was "to me" or "to you", we unleashed the foam. Lasers lit up the sky as dance and trance blasted across the field. The UK’s first-ever Ibiza foam party was a “you had to experience it” moment as revellers danced the night away. Members can rest assured that many images will be added to our gallery to capture your memories of that experience.
If we'd really thought it through, we would have saved the foam party until the last night. Spraying gallons of foam into the air certainly helped keep things clean!
As it happens, we still have today to come. If you've been following these reports throughout the week, you might be wondering how we could possibly top all of this.
You'll have to come back tomorrow to find out!
