Making EveryBody YOUR Festival

The best thing about the EveryBody Festival isn't the programme – it's the people who bring it to life. While there's plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, for many people it's the Naturism itself and the sense of community that make a Naturist festival so special.

With EveryBody now less than a month away, let's look at some of the ways you can help shape the festival while supporting Naturism at the same time.

One of the greatest strengths of EveryBody is that it brings hundreds of Naturists together in one place. That creates opportunities not only to meet friends old and new, but also to raise the profile of Naturism by showing others what our community is really like. The conversations we have and the stories we share can continue promoting Naturism long after the festival has finished.

Two exciting initiatives will help make that happen. Rae from TheNakedTruth will be chatting to people and recording footage to showcase what the festival is really like. Negative perceptions of Naturism almost always stem from misunderstanding, so showing the positive reality is incredibly important. Jon and James from the new Ask a Naturist podcast will also be there, speaking to attendees, particularly those experiencing Naturism for the first time, and sharing their stories through a different medium. Because both projects come from within British Naturism, you can be confident that they will respect everyone's participation and work seamlessly alongside the festival.

EveryBody also belongs to the people attending it. Creating opportunities for everyone to feel involved before they even arrive makes a real difference. That's why we've launched the EveryBody T-shirts through the Ironic Clothing Store. Wearing one lets you show you're part of the community before you even step through the gates.

Just imagine all 250 of us arriving at Splashdown Waterpark wearing the EveryBody logo. It would make a fantastic statement that we are a large, vibrant community deserving of respect. If enough people have a shirt, we'd love to organise a huge group photograph with everyone wearing the logo to celebrate who we are and what we stand for. So, if you'd like to be part of that moment, head over to the Ironic Clothing Store and order yours today.

Entertainment doesn't have to be something you simply watch. Taking part can make it even more memorable. Workshops are a great example of this. The Friday Naked Comedy Night is sure to be one of the festival highlights, but our host, Ben van der Velde, will also be running a daytime improv workshop, giving you the chance to get involved yourself rather than just sitting in the audience.

Then there are the moments that aren't on the timetable at all. The campfire offers a relaxed social space that isn't available at Nudefest, giving people the chance to gather, chat and unwind. The woodland decking provides another peaceful place to spend time in smaller groups, while conversations around the tents and impromptu group cooking sessions often become some of the most memorable parts of the weekend.

These unplanned moments are where EveryBody truly becomes your festival. They happen naturally whenever people feel inspired, whether that's gathering around the campfire, organising an impromptu game or simply spending an afternoon talking with new friends. Or, if you'd rather immerse yourself in the organised programme, that's absolutely fine too. The choice is yours.

We'll see you very soon for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend. There will be plenty to enjoy, but remember that the best parts of EveryBody won't just be the ones we've planned. They'll be the moments you help create. So if you have an idea, don't wait for permission, just make it happen. After all, this is your festival.
