We are very excited to welcome Steph Durbin to the leadership team of British Naturism.
Steph discovered Naturism just three years ago, yet in that short time she has already made a remarkable and lasting contribution. From the outset, she threw herself into club life at Ashdene, quickly becoming a Director and playing a key role in supporting preparations for the club’s 40th anniversary celebrations. Her enthusiasm, commitment and calm capability have not gone unnoticed.
Keen to make a difference beyond her home club, Steph has now stepped up to contribute at national level as Director without Portfolio. She brings with her a strong professional background in retail leadership and management, along with valuable experience in financial oversight. That combination of strategic thinking, organisational skill and practical delivery makes her a fantastic addition to the team.
Many members will already recognise Steph through her support for Helen Berriman and the Women in Naturism campaign. Working behind the scenes as well as in visible roles, she has demonstrated a thoughtful approach, a talent for building connections and an ability to turn ideas into action. Her broad interests and growing network within Naturism mean she is already helping to strengthen and expand our work.
Steph’s appointment reflects the importance of welcoming new voices into leadership. Fresh perspectives, new energy and different experiences all help British Naturism continue to evolve and thrive. Steph embodies that spirit: practical, positive and quietly determined to get things done.
Please join us in giving Steph a very warm welcome as she takes on this new role. We are excited about the contribution she will make and confident that her impact will be both meaningful and lasting. Something tells us she won’t need much luck at all… but we wish her every success nonetheless!
