British Naturism Celebrates Successful Debut at Brighton Pride

British Naturism made its Brighton Pride parade debut in spectacular style, joining more than 500,000 people celebrating diversity, inclusion and the freedom to be yourself.

The event proved to be an outstanding opportunity to introduce Naturism to thousands of people. Throughout the parade, the British Naturism walking float received a fantastic reception, with spectators cheering, asking questions and sharing their own experiences. Many revealed they were already Naturists, while others wanted to know how they could give it a try.

The most common question? "Why are you wearing clothes?" Although we love being clothes-free, Brighton Pride had asked participants to remain dressed for the parade.

The warm response reinforced how closely the values of Pride and Naturism align. Both celebrate body confidence, acceptance and the freedom to live authentically without judgement.

Richard Stacey, British Naturism's LGBTQ Officer, said: "Brighton Pride gave us an incredible platform to show that Naturism is welcoming, inclusive and for everyone. We had hundreds of positive conversations, challenged misconceptions and inspired people to find out more."

A huge thank you to everyone who walked with us, stopped to chat or showed their support. If you'd like to discover the benefits of Naturism for yourself, there's never been a better time to get involved with British Naturism.
