Woodlandia starts this Friday and is attracting even more attention in the local press here and here!
We know the weather forecast isn’t exactly on our side, so we’ve taken some serious steps to make sure that doesn’t stop this from being an incredible weekend.
The event kicks off on Friday night with a performance from Matt Fearon. Anyone who saw him at Alton Towers or Marathone of Mabie will know why we’re thrilled to have him back. Kathryn has joined the team to expand our meditation programme in the barn, Nick Sayers will be showing us how to make pinhole cameras, and Kelsey is also joining the team to do… well, whatever it is that Kelsey does!
However, the biggest change to the programme is a brand-new excursion on Windermere itself. Since relaxing in the sunshine may not be high on the agenda this year, we’ve arranged a boat trip up the lake, followed by an afternoon exploring Bowness. It’s the first time we’ve incorporated Windermere itself into the event and the forecast gave us the perfect excuse to try something new.
So if you’re free this weekend, come and join us. Woodlandia has always been about great people, great company and reconnecting with nature, and this year looks set to be no exception.
