We plan to do a clothing-optional walk near to Shap, before the Lido event. It would be about 6 miles, 2,200 feet of ascent, taking in two Wainwright summits, High Street and Mardale Ill Bell, descending via Small Water.
It is typical Lake District terrain, with steep climbs and steep descents. The terrain is a mixture of good paths and rocky sections. Once away from the car park we can walk naked, if it's warm enough!
Please bear in mind that this is quite a challenging walk if you're not used to walking in the area, with significant climbs and descents. In the past people have turned back on similar walks due to the amount of climbing or the rough terrain!
We will aim to start walking at 12:00, and be finished in time to get to the Lido for 6pm. It is a 25 minute drive from the car park to the Shap Lido.
