Every Monday at 8pm, I teach a 90-minute Yin Naked Yoga Class. This class is only available when I’m not running one of my other special courses (see previous classes).
Yin Yoga is a stilling practice, in which poses are held for longer – typically from 3 to 5 minutes. It has several effects.
It is also particularly adapted for beginners, even though everyone is welcome.
First, since you don’t have to worry about changing your postures frequently, this is extremely efficient in helping you unwind and relax. Once you are in the right posture, the only remaining thing to do is to let go! So enjoyable and highly needed, both for your body and your mind.
Then, it allows a nice stretch. Holding the poses for longer helps to gain access to deeper connective tissues. Your body is supported throughout with yoga props, to make it as comfortable as possible and to prevent from overstretching.
The setting of this course is very welcoming and many students of mine have found it easier to try Naked Yoga there for the first time.
