Located in Gloucestershire’s glorious countryside lies the sleepy village of Slad immortalised in Laurie Lee’s autobiographical book ‘Cider With Rosie’.
Terry and Rod, Slad’s own naked gardeners and BN members for 30 years, now wish to share their garden with fellow naturists.
Little Orchard is a steeply sloping, terraced acre plot developed using many reclaimed materials, stonework and statuary which is enhanced with different styles of planting to compliment the natural surroundings. It has the benefit of a sunny SW aspect and is a haven for wildlife.
The secluded garden offers many seating areas and open lawns with stunning views of the Slad valley. Other features include a 30ft conservatory containing a small, heated exercise pool, infra red sauna and toilets. A large, covered, partly sunken hot tub is situated outside to maximise the views.
The garden adjoins Frith Wood, owned by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and further mixed woodland lies to the NE of the garden. These afford plenty of walking opportunities (Unfortunately clothes required here!)
