Beacon Tarn - Naturist Walk and Skinny Dip.
We are planning on revisiting Beacon Tarn on Saturday 4th July 2020.  As restriction stand at present, I have been told by the Cumbria police that we are now allowed up to 30 in our group - this conforms with new government restrictions, it is still sensible to maintain a 2 metre distance. We will be walking from the Brown Howe car park LA12 8DW - on the A5084  west side of Coniston at 10.30am (best to arrive by 10am if you can for easier parking). On reaching the Tarn we will be taking part in an unofficial Skinny Dip. We would appreciate advance notification of your intention to attend if at all possible. This is a good 2 mile walk - each way. Please bring a packed lunch and a drink. There is a small charge for using the car park, which I believe to be circa £6 for the full day.
Please note: The postcode LA12 8DW may take you up the east side of Coniston, so best to select The Brown Howe car park on your google maps app.

Come and join us for a couple of hours in a warm, friendly and safe environment. We have the use of the pool and seating area and also full access to the Spa on the Breck facilities. These include: spa pool, sauna, steam room, salt steam room, aroma therapy room, foot spas, monsoon shower, ice fountain, heated relaxation bench's.      
Don't forget to come along to the nearby Thornton Lodge pub afterwards to finish off the night. Still not sure? Just come along to the pub and meet us from around 9:10pm. (Now selling 4 cask ales).
