Pétanque Competition

Sunday 30th June 2019

Springwood Sun Club
Colchester, Essex
This competition is open to all BN members in the Eastern Region* and all members of BN member clubs in the Eastern Region. Everyone is welcome.
Play will be in pairs (couples or friends it does not matter) and the competition will be structured so that everyone gets a reasonable amount of play. There will be prizes and medals for the winners!
This is also a social occasion, any BN member or member of a BN club can come along to watch, to meet others members.
A buffet lunch will be included in the entrance fee. There will also be tea, coffee and soft drink refreshments for competitors and supporters during the day.
The fee for each person will be £6.50, payable on the day. Please book your place by e-mailing easternrep@bn.org.uk or calling 01908 263808, as early as possible please but in any case before 21st June.
Singles, don't worry, book anyway and we will find you a partner on the day!
Play will start at 10:30, please arrive by 10:00. Copies of the rules will be available beforehand. Please bring your BN card or club card with you.
*BN Eastern Region covers the following postcodes: AL, CB, CM, CO, HP, IP, LE, LU, MK, NN, NR, OX, PE, SG and SS. BN membership card shows ER1 or ER2.

Abbey House Gardens ‘Clothes Optional Day'
Entry from 11am until 5:30pm.
Join the BN SW team, find us in the Belvedere, at this beautiful 5 acre garden, with its 1300 years of history, the first King of England buried somewhere in the garden, two saints thrown down the well, plus The Coy Carp Café where you can watch, and feed, an extensive collection of koi carp in The Stew Pond, it’s a great day out.
Please observe all path restrictions and do not go beyond the “Path Closed” signs. These closures are necessary to protect the continuance of clothes optional days at Abbey House Gardens.
Please also remember to always use a towel or similar to sit on

The Northampton Sun Group (NSG) has been meeting for Skinny Dips in Northampton on Sunday evenings since 1982. Our evenings start at 17.30pm and finish at 20.00pm (Last entry at 18:00). We are a very friendly group. The mid-evening 'tea-break' gives everyone the opportunity for a chat and to socialise with other members. We hold sessions every Sunday evening (except Bank Holiday weekends and during the summer holidays in July and August) for swimming and the use of the venue's Swedish Sauna & Russian Steam Room, we also have the use of three Turkish Hot Rooms to relax in and a lounge area to hold the very informal meeting, Table Tennis is available for anyone who would like a game. It’s the ultimate swimming experience and a great way to finish the weekend!
