This years INF-FNI Swimming Gala is in Paris and Team British Naturism are planning to attend.
Registration Forms were made available at the BN Gala and you are requested to return these ASAP. This form is also attached here.
The event accommodation is capped at 300 and British Naturism have indicated that we expect to require 30 places for swimmers and their supporters. The event is expected to sell out. We had 70 swimmers at the BN Gala, so we may well exceed our current allocation. It is important that we can firm up our numbers ASAP (by early June).

Members who swam at the 2019 British Naturism Gala are eligible to represent British Naturism at the INF-FNI Swimming Gala in Paris, France, from 18/10/2019 to 20/10/2019. They, and anyone wishing to support to them, must register their interest to the President asap before the 31st July 2019. This is to ensure that the British Naturism entry and the hotel bookings can be submitted in time. Email registration is acceptable providing ALL the requested information on the attached form is included. (Contact - president@bn.org.uk)
DO NOT BOOK ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS UNTIL YOUR PLACE ON THE TEAM HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. BRITISH NATURISM WILL NOT REFUND ANY TRAVEL BOOKED.

(n.b. this will be in shared rooms.)
Travel: Swimmers should make their own way to Paris, more travel details will be given when the team is selected.
Swimmers and Supporters must be members of British Naturism with a current British Naturism (/INF-FNI) card and will be required to show it at the hotel and pool. All participants will be invoiced by the British Naturism Office for this event. No refunds.

Swims now take place in Sheffield at King Edward's Swimming Pool, Sheffield.

For details of the pool please see their website ( http://kesp.co.uk/ ) It is an unusual pool, being 30m long with two shallow ends, somewhat deeper in the middle but still easy to stand. Our impression is that the pool is warmer than Chapeltown.
There is some street parking, free on Sundays. Outside of school hours we can also park for free in the school staff car park adjacent . There are two entrances: I'd suggest the Glossop Road entrance is the one to use, but there is also an entrance on Newbould Lane which means a longer walk.
For those arriving by public transport the pool is very close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and is served by the 120 bus, the closest tram stop is the University of Sheffield.
If you are hungry/thirsty there is a Wetherspoon's ( The Francis Newton ) virtually opposite.

The swims will normally take place on the third Sunday of the month, from 1530 to 17.00. Cost will be £5 ( BN/INF, cards to be shown ) or £7 otherwise. The pool does not have lockers and swimmers are advised to bring a bag for their clothes/possessions and to take them poolside as the secure cloakroom will not be staffed.
