Three Rivers Outdoor Club

Three Rivers Outdoor Club is a naturist caravan and camping club. It has operated in Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria and Yorkshire since it was formed in 1982. The group obtained exemption status from DEFRA (now Natural England) under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960) and the Public Health Act (1936) to rally and camp on green field land, without the need to obtain planning permission or a site licence for these meetings.

We held exemptions under paragraph 4 and 6 of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960). We were granted exemption under paragraph 5 on 19 March 2008 and we are now looking to set up Certified Sites for use by our members. We can set up sites that will be available for our members to use as they wish not just at the set time of a rally. Our exemptions cover all if England, Scotland and Wales.
