Monknash and Wick

A popular beach in South Wales. Access is either via Monknash or an emergency access ladder in the cliff.

The part of the beach normally used by naturists is the rocky bit (flat rocks) at the north-western end, nearest Wick. It is not recommended to access it by the ladder fixed to the cliff at the Wick end, but people do.  It is preferable to go via Monknash, parking in the farmer's field car park, then walking down the lane, through the Cwm and over the pebble beach, turning right at the beach, round the headland and onto the sandy beach. (When parking in the farmer's field, don't forget to put the suggested donation in the honesty box.)

Access is not easy either way! You also have to be careful of the tides, because it's easy to get cut off. If you access the beach over the rocks at the headland then it is only safe for 3 hours either side of low tide else you may get cut off.

It's not an official beach, but is so little used that we've never had any problems using it.
