    Valley Farm Vineyards For Sale

    By Guest, in Eastern,

Last Summer many of us enjoyed a day out near Halesworth at Valley Farm Vineyards. Our two female hosts were, very hospitable and knowledgeable about the industey and their wines.
    Sadly they have decided to move on. Here is an article about them;

Do you live in South Wales?

    By Guest, in South West,

An exciting opportunity to be part of BN's South West Region Leadership Team, coordinating and promoting a programme of naturist activities and opportunities in South Wales, and a great opportunity for someone who likes connecting with others!  As the South Wales Representative you will act as a contact point for members, provide information about local opportunities, promote naturism as a healthy lifestyle and encourage more people in South Wales to become involved in naturism.  Find out more details from HERE, then if you are interested contact our Regional Coordinator Mike Whitcombe for an informal chat.

    NW Action group

    By Guest, in North West,

The North West Action group - leading us out of restrictions incrementally with many outdoor events and the September relaunch of the successful Wigton Naturist swim….
With the Beacon Tarn Naked walk and skinny dip and a first ever organised beach day at Roanhead beach near Barrow in Furness under our belts – the latter was well documented by the local paper ‘The Barrow Mail’ and a positive interview drew plenty of attention to our right to take off our clothes on any beach, despite a local councillor saying we would perhaps disturb the wildlife! Due to popular demand we are to revisit Beacon Tarn on the 19th September, but before that we have the Morfa Dyffryn annual beach day on 5th September – more information can be found on North West News online. -  Updated daily.
Naked swimming returns to the Wigton Pool !
After 5 long months without a swim, this ‘Great British Skinny Dip’ associated swimming pool – Wigton, are reopening their doors and welcoming back Naturist swimming again every second Saturday in the month - beginning on the 12th September 2020 2-4pm. There is a limit of 27 swimmers to comply with social distancing, so be sure to ring the Wigton pool and book your spot. Please bring photo I.D. and proof of address if it’s your first visit. Ladies visiting for the first time can contact the North West ‘Women in Naturism’ campaign coordinator -  Elizabeth via email for a personal welcome.

South West Region News - July 2020

    By Guest, in South West,

South West Region News - July 2020
Here is an update of what’s - on and what’s - not in the South West Region, plus some plans for next year already being made.
    South West Region Meeting 2021.
The team has decided a meeting this year is not realistic. Therefore, tentative plans are in place for our next meeting scheduled for Saturday afternoon on 3rd April 2021.  We plan to repeat arrangements in place before lockdown when we were to meet in the Bear Inn at Street before enjoying the hospitality of Larches swim and a return to the pub for good food and a social evening. More information will follow early in the new year.

News and reports from the Clubs
    Torbay Sun Club
With club swims remaining closed, we are hopeful of some movement soon, after some pools opened on Saturday 25th July. During lockdown the Club has several Zoom naked quizzes thoroughly enjoyed by many members and was then supplemented by a naked chat aimed at also including the non quizzers. Additionally we had a couple of club meets at Slapton Sands to enable socially distanced contact, which was attended by many members throughout the day.
One event we are hopeful of taking place is the naked cruise on 7th August from Exmouth, Covid precautions are in place including reduced numbers but a small number of places are still available.
    Dolcoed
It certainly has been a roller coaster of a year so far and we hope that everyone remains safe and gets through this year unscathed. No events planned this year, we are going to start a fresh for 2021, better to be safe than sorry.
We are however open and busy for the rest of the season. We are in the middle of building a swimming pool but unfortunately we are behind due to covid but remaining confident to getting it completed ASAP.
We possibly have some new additions to Dolcoed as our pet geese are currently sitting on eggs so hopefully we will have 2 babies at the end of July.
Fingers crossed for a safe, healthy and profitable remainder of the season.
    Rivendell
Planning to open in September, bookings and all further information from their website.
    Family Meet-up
    14th - 16th August
NOTE: OPEN TO FAMILIES WITH UNDER 18s ONLY
South West Outdoor Club (SWOC to its friends) is a basic club site located near Dorset's county town or Dorchester. It has a lovely, rural site with boules, miniten and volleyball. There is a clubhouse with kitchen facilities and a warm welcome. There is no mains water or EHU on the site but there is rainwater to flush the toilets. We'll be organising sports and activities for all ages and look forward to enjoying the peace of the surrounding countryside.
Camping is available for tents, caravans and motorhomes. A toilet is available but there is no running water or EHU.
Due to Covid-19 facilities and activities available will reflect the latest regulations and guidance at the time.
However, the SWOC club-house (including kitchen area) will NOT be open during our stay.
Booking is now open via the BN Events website
    Splashdown, Poole
    Saturday 29th August 7.30 - 10pm
The best waterpark on the south coast - an amazing night featuring some of the best waterslides in the UK.  It is understood a decision on whether this event can go ahead is expected soon.
Bookings online at the BN website
    Nudefest 2020.
Unfortunately, this years rescheduled event for September is cancelled, full details are on the BN website.  However, some good news, the site will be a naturist site for camping and caravans etc. from the 7th-14th September.
Booking will soon open and will be direct with Thorney Lakes.
This will not be a British Naturism or Nudefest team event.
    Nudefest 2021
Plans are underway for next year when a “Best Ever” Nudefest will return to Thorney Lakes from 5th to 12th July 2021.  Bookings will soon be open on the BN website.
