Welcoming the Vernal Equinox

Tomorrow we celebrate the Spring Equinox, the moment when day and night are roughly equal in length and the natural world begins to tip decisively towards longer, warmer days. It has long been seen as a symbol of renewal, balance and reconnection with nature. For Naturists, that meaning resonates strongly. As the light returns and temperatures begin to rise, it’s a reminder that spending time outdoors, feeling the sun and fresh air directly on the skin, is one of the simplest and most natural pleasures there is. The equinox marks the turning point when many Naturists begin looking forward again to outdoor swims, walks, gardens and beaches β€” a gentle but unmistakable signal that the Naturist season is on its way. πŸŒ±β€οΈβ˜€οΈ

Yesterday we previewed the national-level festivals coming up this year, the first of which is NKD in May.

But there are many more opportunities ahead.

British Naturism: Sunfolk reopens on 3rd April, we will have more on that next week.

It is at about this time that the program of local events really starts to kick off. The full calendar can be found here, or you can search for events near you here.

Regular swims continued throughout the winter period, but with spring fully upon us, free hikes are starting to appear, as are outdoor club events. British Naturism is much more than the large-scale gatherings, it is worth checking regularly for local opportunities, because community is at the centre of all we do and these groups are run by the nicest people you will ever meet. ❀️🌿
