We’ve received an exciting request from Ian Munt, BN Sports Officer, who is currently seeking an umpire for an exciting upcoming international pétanque event.
The International Pétanque Competition will take place at the Naturist Foundation in Kent from 3rd to 5th July.
This promises to be a fantastic weekend of competitive pétanque, welcoming players from across the international naturist community. It’s always a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, and the event plays an important role in the wider pétanque calendar.
👀 We’re Looking for an Umpire
Ian is currently struggling to secure an umpire for the weekend and is reaching out to the wider pétanque community for support.
If you are:
An experienced club player
Knowledgeable about competition rules
Confident in managing matches and resolving disputes
Interested in supporting an international event
…this could be a great opportunity to get involved.
💚 What’s Offered
To ensure there are no out-of-pocket costs, the organiser will cover:
Camping for the weekend
Food throughout the event
This makes it a fantastic opportunity to support the sport while enjoying a fully hosted weekend in Kent.
🙏 Can You Help?
If you’ve umpired before — or feel ready to step into the role — your support would be hugely appreciated. Events like this rely on volunteers and experienced players stepping forward to keep competitions running smoothly.
If you’re interested or would like more details, please get in touch and we’ll connect you directly with Ian.
Let’s help ensure this international competition runs smoothly and successfully!
