Naked Heart Walk - Fonthill Estate - a report

Wow! What an amazing day we enjoyed walking naked through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, writes Keith Bowman.

Our Naked Heart Walk at the Fonthill Estate took place on Saturday 2 September after a delay of nearly two months following postponement of the original walk. The weather back then was atrocious with heavy rain and very strong winds forecast.  Today it just couldn’t have been more different with beautiful clear blue skies, hardly a cloud in sight with a warm gentle breeze.  It was bliss!

58 people took part including a couple of newbies, and between us we raised over £3,000 in donations to The British Heart Foundation.  Everyone was happy, friendly and chatty, as we naturists tend to be, and everyone had a great day out.  At one point we encountered a group of clothed walkers out for a quiet weekend ramble and gave them something to remember their visit by but everyone was good spirited and just smiled.  A few cyclists also passed by and had to concentrate hard to avoid falling off their machines but no harm came to them.

It was all really good fun so roll-on next year when we can do it all again!
