The Guardian announced its 'Portraits of the Year' shortly after Christmas, and what do you know, there's a 'nudist' (their phrase, not mine) one included. It also features props to hide anything Great Aunt Maud might need the smelling salts for - also their choice, not ours.
We can't reproduce the image owing to copyright issues but we've selected that we can use that features John and Donna who appear in the image and who took part in a feature in the late summer.
Donna has previously been British Naturism's Women in Naturism campaign co-ordinator. Donna told BN, 'We were very pleased to see that one of Fabio’s images of us made it into this selection. Goodness knows what the very many illustrious people also featured, felt about ‘rubbing newsprint shoulders’ with a couple of naked non-entities! It was an interesting day, being the hottest one we had last year and try as we might we couldn’t get Fabio to strip off, despite him melting visibly!'
