We have visited Vera Playa every year for many years (except the last two). We have looked at going to other places, but have always decided VP is value for money and we've met many people whilst there who have become friends 

We too have crossed this crossing  many times on our way to/from Banito's and the other bars, either during the day for a beer and tapas or in the evenings for a meal. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.

20+ visits in 10 years until Covid. Sadly, I don't imagine I might ever be back, due to the routinely cancelled flights and miserable airports experience. 😔

 

We are there for all of August, if anyone else is going and would like to say Hola over a vino or two 😁

We are in Vera Playa now, for another 2 weeks.  It is such a relaxed place to go for a naturist holiday.  This year we drove down via Santander and will do so again

we leave Vera Playa on 7th July.  You will find some change including less beach

 

We found two problems with coming on holiday to Vera Playa, the first is finding how to book accommodation, there are several people who own one or two apartments that they let out and there is the Hotel.  We have found a company called NatSun who have a number of apartments to rent in the Naturist heart of Vera Playa and have rented from them.  The second problem is getting here, there are flights to Almeria and to Murcia (Corvera), and then an hour transfer or rent a car, but that has got VERY expensive this year.  We decided to drive, via ferry to Santander stopping off part way down Spain and enjoyed that option as we have time.
