Bare Necessities Tour & Travel set sail in 1991 with 36 passengers on their first bare cruise and now, over thirty years later, they are filling 3000 passenger ships! For over three decades, they have been working to break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing-optional vacationing an acceptable option for all. They support the belief that sexuality is not a state of undress, but rather, a state of mind. The company has made strides in the acceptance of nude vacationing and their wide range of cruise charters are a testament to their success, whether it’s the annual Big Nude Boat or one of the luxury sailing yachts.
I'm delighted that Kat Whitmire (below, right) who has been sailing with Bare Necessities since 1997 and working in sales and customer service in the office in Austin, Texas, since 2010, will be our guest on Monday and happy to share all of her knowledge of bare cruising.
