  6. If you are reading this it means you are already taking an interest in the activities of the UK’s Naturist organisation. Thank you! You’ll already be aware of: the range of fantastic events that we host across the country and the others we support and promote the work we do in educating the general public and people in authority to the fact that public nudity is a perfectly lawful activity in the UK (and the help we give to people and venues when this isn’t understood) t

  9. In a major new undertaking, British Naturism has taken over the land and property of The Sun-Folk Society.  Not only does this secure the future of the Sunfolk site and its character as a popular naturist club, it will also present opportunities that we expect will form a central tool in the advancement of naturism in the years ahead.  The property will in future be known as “British Naturism: Sunfolk”. This is excellent news both for former members of The Sun-Folk Society, who will continu
  10. AGM Reminder and Vote on Commercialisation of British Naturism We would like to remind members that the British Naturism AGM takes place this Sunday, and not to forget to register if you wish to attend and, more importantly, to vote. This is particularly important this year as there is a member-led motion that will change the basic structure of British Naturism if it succeeds and instructs the first step away from a member-led organisation to a commercial

For the first time in a long time, we have a contested election, reflecting the growing energy and enthusiasm within British Naturism.  This is also the first year that Regional Deputy Organisers
  15. There is no doubt that attitudes are changing, but many, many people still need educating about the simple truths of a socially naked lifestyle and, therefore, busting myths, putting the record straight and spreading the word is of crucial importance. For all of us. We can do that individually (in fact we should) but the number of ears and eyes receiving the message is increased by a huge number when delivered via print, websites, social media, TV, and radio. Many of you will have heard me say i
  16. Thanks to everyone reading this who is one of the stunning number of new members who have joined us since January - that's more than 800 of you! We had an outstanding year for new members in 2020 (as seen on TV ... radio ... print ... worldwide (and it's still being talked about)) and 2021 has been the same. We now have the highest total membership for eight years. If you've been thinking of joining us and becoming part of this vibrant, active, welcoming, non-judgemental, fun-loving community
  17. In our attempts to expand the appeal and access to Naturism through #TheNakedTruth campaign, we have moved into the TikTok platform, which has a very different style and user base than our traditional approaches.  Broaching a new market brings both challenges and opportunities and this will take time to grow, but spreading the message of respect, joy, and mental health benefits found in Naturism could be a big win. TheNakedTruth soundbites tackle frequently asked questions and the beneficial
  18. British Naturism has published its new Equality and Diversity Policy and Code of Practice. British Naturism has already done much to address issues around equality, diversity and inclusion within the organisation; for example raising awareness of body positivity, mental health, women’s equality, hate crime and anti-discrimination practice within Naturism; and this Policy, along with its Code of Practice, is designed to enhance that work and take the organisation forward in this important ar

The ladies at the WI went all out to promote it, especially on Facebook and were rewarded with their largest audience of 42 guests, many from other local WIs. The presentati
