Over 120 people turned up on Saturday, 20 April, for the 2024 British Naturism National Swimming Gala, and it was quite an evening. Around 90 swimmers battled it out through some 70 races. It was my partner Dave’s third gala and – let me get the kudos out of the way – he did very well. “It was a fantastic evening with record numbers attending,” says BN Sports Director Ian Munt. Our next event in the series of Naked Heart Walks in partnership with British Heart Foundation takes place on Sunday 27 July. Water's Edge, Bishampton, Worcestershire is the venue and one that we look forward to every year. It's a wonderful walk in the countryside around the glorious lake. Back in April, we held our first nude swim at the beautiful Withington Pool, Manchester. Such was the success, and the joy experienced by the venue and staff, that we quickly arranged a second ... and this Sunday sees a third. Will it become a regular thing? We hope so. In April, we reported on a highly-successful first event at the Withington pool in Manchester - so successful in fact that we're hosting another on 9 June. Colin’s recent retirement has freed up the time to commit to issues that he is passionate about and central to those is Naturism, which Colin says he has benefitted from greatly. With the uncertainty surrounding the possibilities for International Travel this summer, we thought it would be a neat idea to showcase Naturist places in the UK. We contacted all Naturist clubs and some other venues and offered them a free listing on the basis that they must be open to anyone who wishes to stay/visit. SANER Sport, in conjunction with TANDO Naturist club, are hosting not one, but two badminton events on Saturday 10 and 24 June 2023.  Roundnet/Spikeball and volleyball are also available, as are the facilities of TANDO club. It's always terrific when non-Naturist venues get involved in the Great British Skinny Dip. Arundel Lido (pictured) is one of them and their next nude swim takes place this coming Sunday. It's also not a quick in-and-out, nor an inconvenient early morning or late night event but a four hour session from midday. Fantastic! Do give it your support if you can. Yorkshire’s Ashdene Naturist Club has reached its’ 40th anniversary this year, and the recent Bank Holiday weekend was a perfect opportunity to celebrate the milestone. Many of our members enjoy visiting Britain’s Naturist beaches, whether they live near the coast, are having a day out, or while away on a UK holiday.  Everyone will no doubt have their favourite destination! Wow!  What a weekend it was at The Suncliff Hotel Bournemouth for the first major BN LIVE event of 2024!  This was a fantastic short break that showered FUN and EXCITEMENT from the off.
