	 South Skinny Dip is part of the Great British Skinny Dip. Thousands of pe
	ople across the country will be taking part to raise money for good causes
	 and to experience the exhileration of being naked.\n\n	Why Skinny Dip?\n\
	n	From mental health and body positivity to raising your heart rate and ju
	st feeling the rush of being alive\, there are many\, many health benefits
	 to being naked. But\, if you are looking for another reason to skinny dip
	\, why not do it for a great cause? Our chosen charity is the mental heath
	 charity MIND (charity reg no 219830)\n\n\n\n	The Great British Skinny Dip
	 started in 2016 and has expanded from one event to dozens being organised
	 around the country.\n\n\n\n	Being in a non-judgemental diverse group help
	s you become familiar with and accepting of all kinds of body types. Whate
	ver you look like\, you are normal\, as is everyone else.\n\n	You can be a
	s bare as you dare. If you would feel more comfortable wearing a swimsuit 
	then you are welcome to. There will be time to strip off and store your cl
	othes before the off and plenty of space to spread out or stay within your
	 friends or family group when on the beach.\n\n\n\n	https://slowswimming.o

	 Great South Skinny Dip takes place at 1pm (meet from 12 noon) on the beac
	h at Studland Bay. We are 1km along the sea front to the north (to the lef
	t) of the Knoll Beach National Trust car park.\n\n\n\n	https://slowswimmin

	eting at 12 noon at on the beach. You will see our Slow Swimming torquoise
	 flags and table 1km along the beach to the north of the car park.\n\n	Ple
	ase make sure you have entered online first. Once signed in you will recei
	ve a wrist band that you must wear during the event.\n\n	At 1pm we will so
	und the horn and rush as one into the sea. Squeals and screams are bound t
	o follow!\n\n\n\n	This year we are proud to be raising much needed funds f

	n\n	By road\n\n\n\n	B3351 from Corfe Castle and Swanage or via chain ferry
	 from Sandbanks\, Poole\n\n\n\n	Parking: Pay and display at the National T
	rust car park\, Knoll Beach (free to NT members).\n\n\n\n	On foot\n\n\n\n	
	Studland Bay is on the South West Coast Path and is accessible on foot fro
	m Bournemouth and Poole via the Sandbanks chain ferry.\n\n\n\n	By train\n\
	n\n\n	The closest mainline railway stations are Parkstone and Branksome in
	 Poole and Wareham. The closest stop on the Swanage Railway is Swanage its
	elf. Options for onward travel to Studland Bay include buses\, walking and
	 cycling.\n\n\n\n	By bus\n\n\n\n	Purbeck Breezer no.50 from Bournemouth an
	d Poole or Swanage. £2 per person until end October.\n\n\n\n	By bicycle\n
	\n\n\n	Studland Bay is on the National Cycle Network Route Two which runs 
	east to Bournemouth and Poole and west to Corfe Castle and Wareham. Bike r
	acks are available at Knoll Beach. Beryl bikes bays are available at all f
	our Studland Bay car parks (South\, Middle and Knoll Beaches\, Shell Bay).
	 Any bicycles\, including Beryl bikes\, can be brought over on the ferry f
	or a £1 fee each way (the Beryl bike hire fee can be ‘paused’ while o

	n\n\n\n	A chain ferry links Sandbanks in Poole with Studland Bay\, carryin

	 I allowed to take pictures?\n\n\n\n	We strongly urge you to consider the 
	privacy of others when taking film and photos to capture your GSSD experie
	nce. Refrain from uploading any footage to social media without the permis

	selves displayed on the internet. Be sensible and respectful.\n\n
