	ke is a former basalt quarry. Quarry operations ceased 50 years ago and si
	nce then nature has reclaimed it\, growing over and filling naturally from
	 unground springs. The water is crisp and beautifully clean\, like swimmin
	g in Evian! A shallow in land beach area has been created and a slipway co
	nstructed for easy access to the deeper areas. The temperature is currentl
	y 12 degrees and will rise to 20 degrees during the summer.\n\n\n\n	We sug
	gest a donation to the BHF NI Charity of a minimum of £5\, but feel free 
	to raise more in sponsorship\n\n\n\n	 \n
