A "clothing optional" hike over the heather-covered grouse moors of the Forest of Bowland, meeting at the small grassy roadside car park on the road to the hamlet of Tarnbrook, near Abbeystead. The What3Words location is ///lads.tortoises.voted - please note the nearest postcode (LA2 9BS) is not accurate!! There are route options available of approx 13km and 17km. There are some small rough paths, and some wet areas, and both routes go up to the summit of Ward's Stone (561m) with fabulous views in all directions.
