DESCRIPTION:\n\n	Cancellation of The Gathering 2020 Due to Proposed Comp
	any Voluntary Agreement of Hart Hotels Ltd.\n\n\n\n	We wanted to update yo
	u on the situation relating to The Gathering 2020\, following a number of 
	important developments over the last week.\n\n\n\n	We have been informed t
	hat by Hart Hotels Limited (the owners of the Glenmorag Hotel in Dunoon wh
	ere The Gathering is held) that they feel unable to continue to operate th
	eir business and as such intend to enter into a Company Voluntary Agreemen
	t (CVA) under the terms of the Insolvency Act.  This is at least partly d
	ue to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.\n\n\n\n	We have also become awa
	re that the Glenmorag Hotel has been closed with immediate effect and has 
	been placed on the market for sale by Hart Hotels Limited. As such\, there
	 is no prospect that The Gathering will go ahead as planned in September 2
	020 and that it is highly unlikely that we would be able to transfer the e
	vent to an alternative venue this year.\n\n\n\n	As such\, we have no optio
	n but to cancel The Gathering in 2020.\n\n\n\n	We’re sure that you will 
	be as disappointed as we are by this development. There’s no doubt that 
	The Gathering has become a very special event in recent years\, and we’r
	e committed to finding a new home for the event in 2021.\n\n\n\n	We are al
	so aware that many people will have paid either a deposit or a full balanc
	e to the Glenmorag Hotel for the event which will not now go ahead.\n\n\n\
	n	If you have made a payment in relation to this event\, you should have r
	eceived a communication from Johnston Carmichael\, the insolvency practiti
	oners appointed by Hart Hotels Limited. This describes the process that Ha
	rt Hotels Limited intend to follow and the consequences of this process fo
	r the recovery of any money that you might have paid for the event.\n\n\n\
	n	We suggest that you review this document and consider how you want to pr
	oceed. You may also wish to seek advice from a solicitor or from the Citiz
	ens Advice Bureau.\n\n\n\n	If you have not received this communication and
