alcolm Beakhust)Review by a previous visitor:This was my first time visiti
ng High Beeches and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather cleared up in tim
e for the start and I ended up being one of the first through the gate (an
d about the last to leave). The gardens are lovely with various paths\, po
nds and meadow areas. The paths are a mixture of gravel and grass which ca
n be steep in places as the grounds are basically a small valley with a st
ream down the middle. The gardens are well kept and you disrobe in the car
park which is all hidden from view of the road. It wasn’t very busy (ma
inly due to the weather earlier I think and the temperature was not what y
ou’d expect for July) but it was great to have the run of the place and
to just leave everything in the car. There are plenty of seats all around
the site for those who need rests. \n Thank you to the organisers!! Defi
nitely recommended if you like getting back to nature.
