Meet from 1300 for a 1400 start.
Location: Middle Meadow Walk.
Saddle covers We have saddle covers, available on the day for £2. Please email wnbredinburgh@virginmedia.com if you want one, as we only have a very limited number.
For the sixth time in Edinburgh, a change in the application of the law means nudity will be possible. Last few rides we did the entire route naked. Edinburgh police have backtracked a little, they now say that if they tell us to cover up, then we have to. So, carry a cover up, and hope we won't have to use them. The last 2 times, there hasn't been a problem.
If your "Bare as you dare" isn't quite up to complete nudity, minimalist fancy dress is OK! Riders have worn shorts, bras, swimwear, body paint, wigs, sunglasses etc. Most wear footwear. We can be naked if we want to. But it's up to you! :) Bring a bag to carry your clothes, as we can't promise they would still be there on your return if you left them in the Meadows. If your bike breaks down and you don't have something to wear you will be naked and alone in the middle of Edinburgh... It would be legal to push it back to the start naked, but you might not feel confident doing this. (Although we are nice people, and it's a small ride, so we probably would try to get you a cover up, or someone to chum you back to your kit.)
Body painting and adornment, customised bikes and other creative expression are all strongly encouraged. It is ok to put a flag or banner on your bike, just make sure that it is secure, any pole is light weight, not usable as a weapon and not likely to get caught in the machinery!
For more information visit the website Edinburgh - World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) - Wiki information site

Review by a previous visitor:
This was my first time visiting High Beeches and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather cleared up in time for the start and I ended up being one of the first through the gate (and about the last to leave). The gardens are lovely with various paths, ponds and meadow areas. The paths are a mixture of gravel and grass which can be steep in places as the grounds are basically a small valley with a stream down the middle. The gardens are well kept and you disrobe in the car park which is all hidden from view of the road. It wasn’t very busy (mainly due to the weather earlier I think and the temperature was not what you’d expect for July) but it was great to have the run of the place and to just leave everything in the car. There are plenty of seats all around the site for those who need rests.
Thank you to the organisers!! Definitely recommended if you like getting back to nature.

Peterborough Lido Naturist Swim
Eastern Region has had very enjoyable visits at the Lido since 2019 and are pleased to announce that we have booked Peterborough Lido again for a naturist swim in 2025. This is a wonderful example of a 1930s Lido with three heated pools.
We have the pool from 18:30 until 20:30.
The price remains as last year, £12 for BN members and £14 for others. Entry is by ticket only, and tickets are available to book here.
The Lido is at PE1 1YY and is easily accessible from the Peterborough grid roads, from the A1 or the A47, via the A1139. The large car park is on the left as you approach on Bishops Road having left the A1139 at the City Centre exit. It is also accessible from Peterborough railway station, about a 1200-metre walk.
Watch the unhelpful charges at the "Bishops Road" car park. It is Pay-and-Display and if you arrive after 18:00 you will need to pay £3.50 for 2 hours until the free time starts at 20:00; if you arrive before 18:00 it'll be £6.50! "Riverside" car park might be cheaper for between 3 and 4 hours.
