There is now an accessible lift installed to the function room level. I have ridden it yesterday a great boon. Also the hotel continue to upgrade and the function room now has a new dance floor, carpets and decoration.
A return visit to The Gathering in Central Scotland From Monday the 12 May 2025 to Thursday 15 May 2025. A 3 night break with dinner bed and breakfast and entertainment.
The King Robert Hotel Bannockburn, Stirling a brilliant location close to motorway junctions and easy access by rail or bus. There is a bus stop outside hotel. On the Battle of Bannockburn battlefield.
This year we will be having the World Famous Burns in the Buff and ceilidh, as well as other entertainment. You will also have the opportunity to walk naked in the footsteps of Jamie Frazer of Outlander in his Medieval village.
The historic city of Stirling is on your doorstep with of course the ancient Stirling Castle and many more interesting sights to see.
The hotel and the rooms are modern, most having walk in showers. There are many bedrooms on the ground floor, where also is the dining room and main bar.

Plymouth Sun Club meets monthly on a Monday evening for swimming in Plympton Pool, just on the outskirts of Plymouth. The usual date is the first Monday of each month, but when this is a Bank Holiday we meet on the following Monday. Lane swimming is available for the serious swimmer while the remainder of the pool caters for the less energetic and those that just wish to socialise with friends.
The hour long session commences at 8.30pm and costs £8 for non members and £6 for members each evening. Access to the pool is from 8.20pm although you can't disrobe until the previous session has finished and moved into the changing rooms. Changing for the naturist session is poolside and communal.

A condition of the pool hire is a minimum age of 18 years.
Many attending go onto our local pub afterwards for a drink and chat and perhaps something to eat.
You will be sure of a warm welcome.
