There is a Naturist walk on Wednesday 25th May, from the Discovery Centre at Craven Arms, SY7 9RS. There is plenty of parking at the centre, however it is a charity and a donation of a £1 for parking would be appreciated, especially if you are not spending any money in the cafe. The Discovery Centre is a short walk from the station at Craven Arms, which might make this walk more accessible for some people.
We can meet in the outside seating area (or inside if wet) of the cafe there at (the rear of the building) from 10.30hrs, and start walking at 11.00hrs. Its important to note that this is not an official BN walk, and it is just a case of "walking with friends".
We will be walking to and from the centre on a circular route of about 8 miles. We should be able to be Naturist for around 80% of the walk. There are some steep climbs and descents, which also means that there are some great views across the surrounding countryside. One short stretch of the walk is always muddy even after a long dry spell of weather. We will also need to walk on minor roads in a few places.
The walk will take around 4 – 5hrs, with a stop for a packed lunch on the way.
