Liverpool Sun and Air is one of the country’s oldest naturist clubs having been established in 1933 and moving onto the present site in 1935. We are a members club, that is a club which is owned and administered by its members. Members pay a subscription and carry out virtually all the maintenance themselves according to their individual skills. The club is noted for the friendliness of its members.
Our 10 acre site is situated in open natural woodland convenient to the M62 has easy access to many places of interest. We have a large centrally heated clubhouse with a dance floor and lounge area. In the same building there are two kitchens, a catering kitchen that has been used to prepare four courses for 80 people which is used for our regular organised events. and a member’s kitchen.
In an extension to the same building there is a changing room with lockers and showers, washbasins, and toilet facilities. There is also a sauna and spa which is a focal point on Friday evenings. Provision is made for the disabled including wheelchair access.
Outside there are extensive sunbathing lawns with well maintained gardens, a large swimming pool and a substantial covered barbeque area. For recreation there are two miniten courts, two shuffleboard courts, a boules terrain with two pistes and a volleyball court. Table Tennis, Darts, Snooker and Pool, are also available.
There is a playroom and play area for children.
Our club has a very active social life, themed functions, discos, quizzes, lunches and the like continue throughout the winter.
Camping and Caravanning (with electricity) can be arranged with the Secretary
